Fall River, Mass. – Tina Rizack, MD, MPH, FNCBC, a specialist in medical oncology, has joined the Saint Anne’s Hospital medical staff.

A member of Steward Medical Group who practices at Saint Anne’s Hospital Regional Cancer Center in Fall River, Dr. Rizack is a graduate of Emory University’s School of Public Health and School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She completed an internship in obstetrics and gynecology and residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is board certified in internal medicine, oncology, and hematology.

Prior to coming to Saint Anne’s, Dr. Rizack held roles in hospital medicine before becoming a hematologist/oncologist. She was director of medical gynecological oncology at Women and Infants Hospital, Providence; and most recently, medical oncology and hematology at South County Hospital, Wakefield, RI, where she also was director of the breast health program.

Currently a clinical associate professor of medicine and obstetrics/gynecology at Brown, Dr. Rizack is the author of numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, books and book chapters, and abstracts. She sits on numerous committees at Brown’s Alpert Medical School, including the Medical Faculty Executive Committee, Admissions Committee, and serves as a doctoring mentor for Brown medical students.

A fellow of the National Consortium of Breast Centers, Dr. Rizack’s special clinical interests are women’s cancers, including breast and gynecological cancers, plus hematology and oncology issues in pregnancy.
