Fall River, MA – Saint Anne’s Hospital has announced
that medical oncologist Jennifer
L. Crook, MD, has been appointed to the medical staff
of Saint Anne’s Hospital Regional Cancer Center-Hawthorn Oncology Center
in North Dartmouth.
Born and raised in New Bedford and a graduate of Bishop Stang High School in North Dartmouth, Dr. Crook earned her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. A graduate of F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, she completed her internal medicine residency at National Naval Medical Center and her Hematology/Oncology fellowship at National Capital Consortium Program, both in Bethesda. She served 14 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy, leaving at the rank of Commander.
Board certified in hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Crook has more than 15 years of experience and most recently practiced at Hematology-Oncology Specialists of Cape Cod. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Massachusetts Medical Society, and the Massachusetts Society of Clinical Oncologists.
Dr. Crook joins medical oncologists John Niedzwicki, MD, PhD, and Elliott Anderson, MD, at Saint Anne’s Hospital Regional Cancer Center-Hawthorn Oncology Center in North Dartmouth. They, as part of Saint Anne’s comprehensive cancer team of medical oncologists and radiation oncologists, oncology-certified registered nurses, pharmacists, social workers, registered dietitians, and other professional staff trained in cancer care, provide coordinated services for a wide range of cancers.
